Illustrious Games debut game Legacy of Man can be enjoyed by novice gamers to the most serious gamers who enjoy more in depth board games. With an expansion available for up to 8 players so no one has to sit out. Each game is different as every player takes turns to build their own base, allowing for different strategies to achieve victory. This game can be won by attacking your enemies, making alliances, or playing solo to gather resources to build your empire. Each nation has its own unique blend of powers, 3 different unit types, gambling on 1v1 combat and cross map travel assures every game is different. With an average play time of 45-90 minutes, this is a game for the whole family or game night with your friends. Developed and made in the U.S.A!

Gameplay Details:

The base game consists of 4 Nations -USA, Russia, China and Mongolia. The board has the ability to change every game as every player starts by placing the first 8 tiles of their empire. Gather resources, hire units, build up your empire and conquer your opponents if you choose. The game ends when a player achieves certain in game milestones and then all players add up points based on their positions and amount of pieces in their possession, so ending the game doesn’t mean total victory. Each player has 3 different unit types and 11 miniatures in total each.

The Ancients Expansion allows for an additional 4 nations – Egypt, Mayans, Sparta and Persia.
